I created this video book recommendation for a site within the National Writing Project, but thought it would be neat to share here. The book is called Not Quite What I Was Planning, put out by Smith Magazine.

Peace (in brevity),
Kevin

Lots of ways to use this!
We’ve used Not Quite What I Was Planning and the other “six-word” books to open or close our professional learning sessions. Last week, for instance, teachers wrote six-word syntheses of their learning after a workshop. Great responses! For example:
“Try it. You might like it.”
“Set it beside what I know.”
“Graphic organizers help arrange our history.”
“Great strategies for health and physical education.”
“Similarities and Differences yield high learning.”
“Reminded about strategies I have neglected.”
Thanks Kevin. Excellent book. Great reminder.

I just created one on the Smith website. How does this work with the NWP?
