We&#039;ve used Not Quite What I Was Planning and the other &quot;six-word&quot; books to open or close our professional learning sessions.  Last week, for instance, teachers wrote six-word syntheses of their learning after a workshop.  Great responses!  For example:

&quot;Set it beside what I know.&quot;
&quot;Graphic organizers help arrange our history.&quot; 
&quot;Great strategies for health and physical education.&quot;
&quot;Similarities and Differences yield high learning.&quot;
