(For this month’s Slice of Life Challenge with Two Writing Teachers, I am aiming to do Six Word Slices most days, with some extended slices on other days.)
Context: Do you know Hello, Universe by Erin Estrada Kelly? I was deep into the story yesterday, and I won’t give much away, other than the hint of my six words.
It’s a great story (it just won the Newbery Award), told from many perspectives and full of insights into the colliding worlds of children.
Peace (in connections),
Kevin
This is on my TBR list. Now, I’m even more intrigued!
It’s good.
Intriguing intros
Curiosity speaks
Wonder dawns
Nice poem … thx
This is now
on my TBR
I agree. It’s a very good read.
Will they all connect
In time?
Just finished it recently and planning to slice about it sometime this month. So much to love in this book. It was on my radar (thanks to fellow bloggers), but I hadn’t read it before it won the Newbery.
Want to read this. And you have me thinking about how to use the six word format with my fourth grade readers…
