Someone tagged me (darn it, I can’t remember who!! If it you, sorry) and I spaced out on it but I am interested. This was started by Miguel over Around the Corner and the meme is to find a picture for a virtual quilt that represents your passion for teaching.

I know I just used this photo for my Slice of Life, but it does represent something powerful to me: young people seeking out the good in each other and finding words to praise those actions and deeds and words.

So here is my entry for the Passion Quilt

Miguel provides three simple Meme rules:

  • Post a picture from a source like FlickrCC or Flickr Creative Commons or make/take your own that captures what YOU are most passionate about for kids to learn about…and give your picture a short title.
  • Title your blog post “Meme: Passion Quilt” and link back to this blog entry.
  • Include links to 5 folks in your professional learning network or whom you follow on Twitter/Pownce.
