(This is part of the Slice of Life project at Two Writing Teachers)
It was beautiful out yesterday and I had the afternoon off due to night-time parent-teacher conferences, so I grabbed the dog and my digital camera and wandered down to the river.
Peace (in the sun),
Kevin
Those walks breath life back into me. I expect you needed a bit more life to get ready to do conferences. I like conferences but find them exhausting.
What a beautiful area you have by your house. It was very peaceful to watch and I wanted to be transported there. It is snowing again in my part of the world. 🙁
Thanks for sharing this.

Snow?
Ack
I really enjoyed the video. What a nice way to share a slice!
Okay, I’m jealous. Close to our house is a major 3-lane highway, that I can hear through my open window (although faintly). I have the window open to enjoy the fragrance of our wysteria, the blossom full and fat and lavendar, hanging down from the vines atop our patio. No leaves, yet, just flowers that hang like a lady’s earrings.
I’d love a walk in the woods. Mighty fine slice today, Kevin!

What a great way to spend an afternoon off! Your dog obviously loved it!
Great way to share a slice! I loved the natural soundtrack…lucky you to be able to get home during the day.
