I am not a doodler, but I have plenty of students who are. This image was over at Philip Cumming’s blog — A Retrospective Saunter — and I really love how it celebrated thinking in a very visual way.
Philip also points us to the RSA Animate videos, which are fascinating to watch as they take the audio from a lecture and doodle it as the lecture unfolds.

I want to get good at this too! I think it’s an essential skill for kids to learn, too–aids back-of-the-napkin innovation.
