(For this month’s Slice of Life Challenge with Two Writing Teachers, I am aiming to do Six Word Slices most days, with some extended slices on other days.)
To be honest, officially it’s still winter, right? But it’s Mid-March. That’s what should be Spring in my mind. Ignore the snow. Yesterday, I spent the day in DC, collaborative thinking about a summer project to connect teachers, writing projects, and National Park sites together, and July seemed very far away. I know it’s not. (Not many signs of Cherry Blossoms here in DC yet … )
Peace (thinking ahead),
Kevin
We are always planning ahead as educators, aren’t we? Maybe that makes us even more cognizant of the seasons. Unfortunately, the season coming upon us here in Texas is testing season….
Here, too, alas
Kevin, great idea using a 6 word slice for planning next steps.
Spring? Spring? What’s that …? I am hoping to get to DC in a couple of weeks; I hope the blossoms are alive and well then.
I always have my feet in two boats too.
We were looking at seed catalog while Kids went our to shovel snow from sidewalk.
Yes, we are Springing for Summer. 🙂
I always plan for the summer in the spring too. Only so much winter that I can take. The hint you gave about planning to connect teachers, writing projects, and National Parks is very intriguing. I hope you add more about that in another slice!
Looking ahead is a good thing, right? We have to have something to look forward to! 🙂 ~JudyK
