(For this month’s Slice of Life Challenge with Two Writing Teachers, I am aiming to do Six Word Slices most days, with some extended slices on other days.)
Context: I had yesterday off, due to the snow in the higher elevations of our school district. The rest of my family did not. That meant I had time and space to write and record some music here at home.
Peace (sounds like),
Kevin
The gift of time. A melody we all love.
Love how you spent your time!
Music is my prayer. Pray loudly.
For some reason, this reminds me that Einstein was a musician at heart … make of this what you will. 🙂
Now I want the audio track!
This is one song I made, for Carol V’s winter-themed showcase: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuLv9oNaMpQ

Thanks, Kevin. (I should probably crank my AC to get the full effect!) 🙂
Bonus day! Love those.
I’m also loving running across your lifted poems in the comments of other slices. I’ve started creating lifted poems out of professional journal articles. It helps them stick a bit more.
Yep. Another way to close read and annotate. Neat version of line-lifting, Lisa.
